Meet Dr. Nguyen
I’m Dr. Vinh Nguyen, and I’m truly excited to meet you and your family. I immigrated to the United States at the age of five, learning early the importance of sacrifice, respect, and determination — values that continue to guide how I care for my patients every day. As the youngest of seven, I learned to listen, stay independent, and always treat others with kindness.
I grew up in Stockton and later attended UC Berkeley, where I developed a love for the Bay Area’s beauty and community. I went on to earn my dental and orthodontic degrees from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Being an orthodontist is truly a privilege — I not only help create beautiful, natural smiles but also enjoy getting to know my patients and their families over the years.
Giving back has always been close to my heart. I teach as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, lecture locally, and support local schools and fundraisers.

Outside the office, I love spending time with my wife and two young daughters, reading, going to soccer games, and enjoying the outdoors. I also hope to one day share my love of music with my girls — I once played cello in the UC Berkeley Symphony!
